WELCOME TO DOLTOENGLISH

Peace is one of the most ambitious human aspirations and Music has often expressed this eternal humanlike search for peace. In order to appreciate music's contribution to peace, UNESCO has decided to declare some songs devoted to peace as World Cultural Heritage.

* the lyrics with all the words or expressions in the song relating to peace/war (with their translations)

* a paragraph explaining what exactly the song is about (a person, a country, a war, war in general...) and the message it conveys (Is the singer/the group accusing somebody of soething? reproaching somebody for doing sthg?...)

* the reason why you like this song, and you think it's the perfect song to illustrate PEACE.

Please note that you are very welcome to present this work orally. If you do so, and you happen to choose another song that the ones which are presented below, you'll have to bring a cd or dvd so that everybody can listen to the song.
